Rose Cottage Farm

Overview

The project is a deep retrofit of a 250-year-old farm cottage.

The cottage was in a derelict state when the project commenced, having been unoccupied for five years. The building was carefully stripped back to the four walls, all the cement render was removed and replaced by breathable lime. The cottage is internally insulated with a breathable insulation board, and a new insulated roof structure was installed. The deep, old walls effectively contain a new energy-efficient home.

Interior photos to follow later in 2025.
